Two Shootings in Two Days at King George Trailer Park

King George Sheriff’s office is investigating two shootings that occurred at the Princess Anne Trailer Park just two days apart. There is no indication if the two shootings are related. One resulted in death to the victim.

According to a press release from King George Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer, 1st Sgt. Kecia Wharton on July 19th at approximately 2:07 AM, the King George Sheriff’s Office 911 center received calls for assistance in reference to a shooting that occurred in the Princess Anne Trailer Park. Callers advised they heard multiple shots fired in the area. Deputies responded to the scene and located evidence that a shooting had occurred.

At approximately 2:16 AM, the 911 Center received an additional call from a resident in a subdivision off Indiantown Rd. in King George stating that a relative came to their home and had been shot.

Deputies responded and located 31 year old Diondrae Antwain Shade, of King George, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Family members and deputies provided emergency first aid to the victim until EMS arrived on scene. Shade died of his injuries a short time later at Mary Washington Hospital.

Also under investigation is a previous shooting which occurred on Saturday, July 17th. At approximately 3:56 PM, an incident took place, also in Princess Anne Trailer Park, where multiple shots were fired resulting in an adult male being shot in the wrist.

King George Sheriff’s Office detectives and forensics personnel responded to both incidents.

These shootings are currently under investigation.
