In response to complaints filed by King George County School Superintendent Dr. Robert Benson, King George County Fire Marshal and several citizens, KG Supervisors voted on a change in burn laws.
Complaints stated that open burning of leaves, grass, paper, brush, wood and other materials and debris at various times of day and places have become a nuisance during school hours.
