After Heated Debate C.B. Tourism Center Will Stay Put

Colonial Beach Tourism Center has been located on the Boardwalk across from the Municipal Pier for years.

After the town staff directed the tourism center to merge with the Colonial Beach Museum located a block away from the beach, volunteers were afraid to voice their opinions, according to Betty Whitestone.

However after Whitestone made a stern statement against the move, Council voted to keep the Tourism Center on the Boardwalk for at least the remainder of the season.
