Operation Strike Out, Tally Up To Seven Arrested

The Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Department issued a press release on August 31 reporting on six individuals who have been arrested for various drug charges. By the afternoon one more suspect had been added to the list.

According to the press release;

On Thursday, August 30, 2018, six individuals were arrested without incident on various drug charges.

Operation “Strike Out” was conducted by Narcotics Detectives with the Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Tri-County Drug Task Force.

Northumberland and Richmond County Sheriff’s Offices assisted as well as personnel from the Northern Neck Regional Jail.

Those arrested to include charges are:

Amy L. Brann, 47, Hague, two counts of distribution and two counts of conspire to distribute a schedule III controlled substance namely Suboxone and one count of distribution of an imitation substance, Personal Recognizance Bond

Valerie A. Campbell, 53, Hague, two counts of distribution and two counts of conspire to distribute a schedule III controlled substance namely Suboxone, No Bond

Jonathan M. Lewis, 29, Hague, one count of distribution of a schedule I or II controlled substance namely Marijuana, Personal Recognizance Bond

Kilvant’e S. Newton, 22, Montross, two counts of distribution
of a schedule I or II controlled substance (one count namely Cocaine and other count namely Marijuana), No Bond

Edmund A. Smith, Jr., 44, Colonial Beach, one count of distribution of a schedule I or II controlled substance (3rd or subsequent offense) namely Cocaine, No Bond

Terrell J. Thompson, 28, Hague, two counts of distribution of a schedule I or II controlled substance namely Marijuana, Personal Recognizance Bond

First court appearances are scheduled for Tuesday, September 04, 2018 in Westmoreland County General District and Friday, September 07, 2018 in Westmoreland County Circuit Court.

Ms. Lisa M. Aries, 35, Hague was arrested without incident on Friday, August 31, 2018 as part of Operation “Strike Out”. She is charged with one count of possession of a Cannabimimetic Agent namely Spice, Ms. Aries received No Bond and her first court appearance is Tuesday, September 04, 2018.
