I’ve been reporting and helping this community (the Northern Neck) prepare for storms since 2009. I am not a meteorologist so I leave the predictions to the weather experts and bring them to you.
But I am a professional journalist/reporter and I can tell you this, with the remnants of one of the first named storms of the season affecting us now (Gordon) and another (Florence) that offers even a remote chance of hitting the East Coast, it is big news for news agencies.
