Clarification from town officials confirms supplemental tax bill is charge for 10 cent increase for the first half of the 2018 calendar year. However we are still waiting to see documentation which authorizes a locality to charge for tax prior to the date it was voted on by council. Discussions with town staff reveals issues with outdated billing system which is scheduled to be updated soon but officials claim the supplemental bill is not an error.
