The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory effective until Monday 5 a.m.
Snow is expected throughout the night but taper off after 6 a.m. Temperature at 6 will be around 27 degrees and hold steady until 9 a.m. when it will start rising reaching a high of 36 by 3 p.m.
The sun will start to come out around 1 p.m. and some melting is possible. Any snow that melts will began to refreeze as the night wears on. Temperatures will reach freezing by 6 p.m and drop to 28 by midnight.
Tuesday morning wake up to 25 degrees and mostly clear skies.
PSA: Town Closings For Monday
Town Hall will be opening late. Due to inclement weather Town Hall will open at 12:00 p.m. on Monday January 14.
Colonial Beach Schools and Westmoreland County Schools will be closed on Monday January 14.
King George Schools will be closed on Monday January 14. Employees are under Code 1.
