Census Officials, Community Leaders and Partners gathered together on April 1 to celebrate and discuss the upcoming 2020 Decennial Census preparations.
Albert Fontenot Associate Director of the 2020 Census discussed new innovations implemented this decade to make filling out census forms easier than ever before.
Fontenot said, “The 2020 Census is a massive undertaking and through the hard work, dedication and mission focus of our Census Bureau Staff, our contractors and our external partners we will be introducing new technologies, new methods and new processes. all designed to make this census easy,safe and secure and enable us to fulfill our important constitutional mandate to get a complete and accurate count of the United States.”…
Associate Director For Field Operations Tim Olsen manages over 500,000 employees, all field offices and remote operations. Olsen talked about the jobs that have and will be created by the 2020 Decennial Census and how to apply for these jobs.
