Weather

Monday wake up to 55 and cloudy skies at 6 a.m. turning to partly sunny and 61 by 9 a.m.

No rain is predicted for Monday. Temperatures will rise to 68 by noon and top out at 74 by 4 p.m.

6 p.m. temperatures will start dropping to 72. By 8 p.m. temperatures will drop quickly with 69 degrees then reaching 63 by 10 p.m. and dipping to 60 by midnight.

Overnight temperatures will continue to fall into the 50’s. Wake up the a chilly 56 degrees at 6 a.m. on Tuesday. Temperatures will get into the low 80 on Tuesday.

Richmond County Residents may dispose of old tires on Saturday May 18 at the Warsaw location.

Summer/Fall season May 16-December 31, 2019, 2 fish/person/day, 20″ minimum and only one of the two fish may be 28″ or larger.

VDOT Hot Spots May 5-11, 2019

Caroline County/King George County Work Zone

Route 301 at Rappahannock River (James Madison Bridge)

Monday − Friday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane on Route 301 northbound and southbound near the James Madison Bridge over the Rappahannock River for a bridge maintenance project. Expect brief delays on the bridge and at the bridge approaches.

Westmoreland County Work Zones

Route 622 (Panorama Road)

Thursday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Expect alternating, one-way traffic on Route 622 (Panorama Road) between Route 644 (Wild Sally Road) and Route 648 (Stratford Hall Road) for paving. A flagging crew will direct drivers in the work zone.
