King George County Sheriff’s Office issued the following statement,
King George Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Margene Mays Hughes, 60 yo of King George, who has been reported missing. Her last known location was in Unionville Va. on Saturday June 8th at approximately 4 pm. Ms. Hughes has ties to Amherst County, Va.
Ms. Hughes is 5’3″ tall weighing approx. 118 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. She is believed to be driving a burgundy 2014 Chrysler Town & Country van with Virginia license plate MMMHVT.
Anyone with information regarding Ms. Hughes’ whereabouts is asked to contact the King George Sheriff’s Office at (540) 775-2049.
Margene Hughes’ son posted this today.
“Friends, family, we are in dire need of your help. My mom, Margene Hughes is missing. She was last seen in Fredericksburg at 4pm yesterday (June 8) headed west on VA rt 20, toward Unionville. If ANYONE has seen or spoken to her in the last 24 hours, please call Daniel, at 540-809-1537. Local and State Police are working on a search, but any assistance or leads are welcome. Please share this at will, and please, please pray. God is good and we trust in Him.”
