Weather

Wake up to 70 degrees at 6 a.m. on Friday. Mostly sunny skies will cause temperatures to rise.

By 9 a.m. it will be 74 degrees, by noon 79. Humidity levels will be more mild than yesterday.

The high will be 82 degrees at 3 p.m. by 6 p.m. temperatures drop to 70 degrees. No rain is forecast for Friday.

By 9 p.m. temperatures dip to 73 and by midnight we will be looking at a temperature of 69 degrees.

Overnight temperatures will dip down through the 60’s reaching 62 by 6 a.m. on Saturday, however humidity will be high all night so opening the windows may not be a good idea.

EVENTS:

Westmoreland County Museum: Thanks to those who have made the museum aware that we are having a phone problem again.  All seemed fine on our end: we have a dial tone and can call out; however, we are not receiving your calls.  We are frustrated as well.  Thank you for your patience while we try to solve the problem.  You can still contact the museum via email at wcmuseum@verizon.net or on Facebook messenger.  We are also open Monday-Saturday 10 am- 4 pm for in-person visits.  Sorry for the inconvenience and again, we appreciate your patience.

Mama’s Aprons & Stories
June 29, 6-8 pm
Montross Soda Shoppe

Program will include a History of Aprons by Freida Johnson and Stories and Apron Showcase by Iris Lane.

Admission fee of $10.  Lite fare will be served.  The store will be raffling off one $10 store gift certificate.
Please register in advance.  Attendees are encouraged to bring your favorite dessert recipe card to share.
