EVENTS:

4th of July Fireworks will be shot off on the 4th, that’s Thursday, be prepared for some delays as the police will be directing traffic after the show. Fireworks are shot off from the municipal pier located at the east end of Hawthorne street. Residents with town stickers can park at any metered space for free.

Fireworks can be viewed very well from the Naval tower located at the Northern most side of the boardwalk and all the way to the end of the public beach leading out to the point.

As you pass the range tower on the point visibility becomes less optimal. Of course watching from a boat in the water is always a spectacular site. The Municipal pier will be closed early in the day to allow the pyrotechnic professional to set up for the show.

The fireworks start shortly after dark. Usually after 9 p.m. We hope you enjoy the show. As always if you have any questions please post them in the comments section and we will try to answer them all to the best of our knowledge.

Have a happy Independence Day!
