Meth Lab Busted On Monroe Bay Circle In Westmoreland County July 10

A huge police presence was on hand the morning of July 10, 2019 at a home on Monroe Bay Circle in Westmoreland County.

Sources say that over 40 vehicles consisting of various law enforcement raided a home located at 2044 Monroe Bay Circle. Witnesses have posted on social media that they have seen police cars and a helicopter flying over.

Witnesses also report seeing Haz-Mat trucks at the scene so speculations of a Meth Lab are floating around social media.

Monroe Bay Drug Bust

According to sources the home is in a state of disrepair and has been unsuitable for living for almost three years.

*** Meth House Busted ** Meth House Busted **

As the result of an intensive four month investigation initiated by detectives with the Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Office and in conjunction with the Tri-County Drug Task Force, a search warrant was executed on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 in the 2000 block of Monroe Bay Circle. Three individuals have been arrested on drug charges related to operating a Methamphetamine Lab. Due to the nature of this type of activity, the residence has been deemed uninhabitable by officials.

Agencies that assisted included the Colonial Beach Volunteer Fire Department, Henrico County Fire Department (DECON Team), Virginia Conservation Police, Westmoreland County EMS and Westmoreland County Building & Zoning.

Those arrested to include charges are:

Peter W. Jochum, 34, Montross, one count of manufacturing Methamphetamine and one count of conspiring to manufacture Methamphetamine. No Bond

Angela D. Hines, 41, Colonial Beach, one count of manufacturing Methamphetamine and one count of conspiring to manufacture Methamphetamine. No Bond

Dustin P. Rector, 34, Colonial Beach, one count of manufacturing Methamphetamine and one count of conspiring to manufacture Methamphetamine. In addition, Mr. Rector was charged on a Capias. No bond.

First court appearances have been scheduled.

Investigation continues and further charges are pending.
