Farmland Preservation Informational Session

The Northern Neck Land Conservancy (NNLC) is holding an informational session for individuals interested in learning more about farmland preservation using conservation easements.

This session will be held on Wednesday July 24 from 6-8 PM at the Saint James Episcopal Church in Montross and will feature insights from farmers and other landowners who have used easements as a tool to protect their land and generate additional income for their businesses.

Elizabeth Friel, Executive Director of NNLC, will give an overview of easements–their pros and cons– and how they can be used to help maintain the Northern Neck’s rural culture, natural environment and farm-based economy.

Refreshments will be provided.

Please call the NNLC office at 804-462-0979 to make a reservation.

The church address is 15870 Kings Highway, (Rt. 3) Montross, VA 22520
