Route 360 over the Rappahannock River at Tappahannock will be reduced to a single lane each evening for spot painting and concrete repairs.
Route 360 over the Rappahannock River in the Tappahannock area will be reduced to a single lane overnight seven days a week from Sunday, Aug. 11 through Sunday, Aug. 25.
Travelers can expect lane closures and brief delays on Downing Bridge between Richmond County and the Town of Tappahannock between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. nightly, weather permitting.
Automated flagging devices will direct one-way, alternating traffic through the work zone, controlled by members of a flagging crew.
Crews will be performing spot painting and concrete repairs underneath the bridge.
Message boards are posted at both bridge approaches to alert travelers to this upcoming work and potential travel delays.
