Weather
Wake up to 73 by 6 a.m. on Saturday morning. There is less than a 5% chance of rain today predicted so I’m sure today at some point it will pour down rain!
By 9 a.m. temperatures will reach 78 degrees and by noon mostly sunny skies will bring 85 degrees.
The high of 89 will be reached by 4 p.m. and by 6 p.m. the temperature will drop only slightly to 87.
The temperature will be a warm 80 by 9 p.m. and by midnight will only drop to 78.
Overnight temperatures will be in the high to mid 70’s dipping to 74 by 6 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Crime News:
Caroline County Sheriff’s Office recently apprehended several suspects within the same family who have been charged with multiple thefts from cars.
Residents in Westmoreland County have also reported that unlocked and locked cars have been broken into and ransacked. Be sure to securely lock your vehicles and activate alarms if your car is equipped with one.

Author Visit: Nathan Hale-Saturday, August 17, 2019
Nathan Hale is visiting the Smoot Library from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. He’ll draw live on screen and tell a brand new Hazardous Tale! Book signing to follow. Books will be available to purchase courtesy of our Friends of the Library. THIS IS A TICKETED EVENT! Tickets will be available starting August 14. You must come to the library to register and receive tickets. The program is limited to 200.
