I-95 Northbound
Demolition of the Truslow Road overpass between Exit 133 (Route 17) and Exit 136 (Centreport Parkway) in Stafford County will require I-95 double lane closures, plus intermittent full traffic stops between midnight and 3 a.m. Crews are replacing the Truslow Road overpass as part of the I-95 Express Lanes Fredericksburg Extension project.

I-95 Northbound and Southbound
Exit 140 (Courthouse Road) On- and Off-ramps, Stafford County
Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Expect single lane closures on the I-95 on- and off-ramps for road work in connection with the Exit 140 diverging diamond interchange project.
Stafford County
Route 1 at Layhill Road Intersection
Monday – Tuesday, 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. Expect alternating, short-term lane and turn lane closures at the intersection of Route 1 and Layhill Road. Crews will be installing a flashing yellow arrow to the traffic signal equipment, along with high-visibility signal back plating. The flashing yellow arrow signal helps drivers turn left safely against oncoming traffic. Be alert to flaggers in the work zone to direct drivers through the intersection. Virginia State Police will assist with traffic control. Expect brief delays.
Route 1 Northbound
Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Expect a single lane closure on Route 1 northbound from Courthouse Road to South Campus Boulevard for pipe work.
Route 1 Southbound
Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 12 p.m. Expect a single lane closure on Route 1 southbound from Courthouse Road to South Campus Boulevard for pipe work.
Route 218 (White Oak Road)
Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Expect alternating, one-way traffic on White Oak Road near Hudson Road for guardrail repair. A flagging crew will direct drivers in the work zone. Brief delays are possible.
Hospital Center Boulevard
Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Expect single lane closures on Hospital Center Boulevard between Courthouse Road and Route 1 for road work as part of the Courthouse Road widening project.
Route 630 (Courthouse Road) Fred Ex Work
Monday – Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. On Monday, Courthouse Road westbound right turn lane between Red Oak Drive and Route 1 will be closed and on Tuesday, a single left lane on westbound Courthouse Road within the diverging diamond interchange will be closed for construction activities as part of the I-95 Express Lanes Fredericksburg Extension project .
Route 630 (Courthouse Road) Work
Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and Friday, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Crews will still be working on final construction activities as part of the Courthouse Road widening project.

Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. Expect alternating, one-way traffic on Eustace Road between Northampton Boulevard and Sassafras Lane for pipe repair. A flagging crew will direct drivers in the work zone. Be alert to crews and construction equipment. Brief delays near the work zone are possible.

Route 17 at Brays Point Road
Sunday – Tuesday, 7 p.m. – 5 a.m. Expect alternating lane closures at the Route 17 intersection with Brays Point Road as crews make repairs to the traffic signal, including replacing the signal pole and installing a new foundation. Crews will also be installing a flashing yellow arrow to the traffic signal, along with high-visibility signal back plating. The flashing yellow arrow signal helps drivers turn left safely against oncoming traffic. Law enforcement will direct drivers in the intersection.
Route 641 (Tidemill Road)
Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Expect alternating lane closures on Route 641 (Tidemill Road) at the bridge over Sarah Creek, which is located between Route 17 and Guinea Road, for bridge repairs.
King and Queen County
Route 619 (Owens Mill Road)
Starting Monday, Feb. 10, VDOT will close Route 619 (Owens Mill Road) to traffic to begin work to replace the bridge over Rickenaw Creek. The road will close at approximately 8 a.m. Drivers should expect an estimated 10-mile detour. The bridge replacement project is expected to be complete in 14 weeks. Read the release here.

Lens Replacement
Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.Be alert for a mobile operation with single lane closures to replace traffic signal lenses at multiple locations in King George County. Route 360 Westbound at River Road
Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Expect a single lane closure on Route 360 westbound near the River Road intersection for guardrail repair.

Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. Be alert to crews working along the shoulders on Route 360 between Kennington Parkway and Acquinton Church Road intersections to allow crews to install signs.
Lancaster County
Robert O. Norris Bridge
Thursday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Expect alternating, one-way traffic near the White Stone approach to the Norris Bridge for guardrail repair. Crews will be repairing damaged guardrail on Route 3 before the Norris Bridge over the Rappahannock River between Lancaster and Middlesex counties. All lanes on the bridge will remain open. Drivers may experience brief delays.
West Point
Eltham Bridge
Sunday – Thursday, 7 p.m. – 7 a.m. Expect alternating single lane closures on Route 30 at the Eltham Bridge over the Pamunkey River for bridge maintenance. The bridge connects the town of West Point to New Kent County.

Route 632 (Mount Olive-Cohoke Road)
A portion of Route 632 (Mount Olive-Cohoke Road) is closed for a bridge replacement project. Detour signs are posted along the recommended six-mile detour route. The road will remain closed until its anticipated completion date in November 2020.
Route 662 (Sharon Road)
A portion of Sharon Road is closed for reconstruction. Project schedule under development. Crews are repairing damage from Tropical Storm Michael. The project is reconstructing a slope near the road and replacing the culvert.
