Virginia State Police Trooper J.C. Baker is investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash in Northumberland County. The crash occurred April 2, 2020 at 5:10 p.m. on Lewisetta Road, north of Bon Harbor Road.
A 1999 BMW 321i was traveling on Lewisetta Road when it ran off the left side of the road and struck an embankment, fence and tree.
The driver, Sami M.S. Basuhail, 51, of Lottsburg, Va., died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
