PUBLIC STATEMENT FOR KING GEORGE COUNTY, VIRGINIA
The use of “no touch” options (i.e. visiting the King George County website to pay tax bills and the election of curbside service to obtain an absentee voting ballot) remains the preferred method to receive governmental services. However, the King George County Government will re-open municipal facilities to the general public on Friday, May 29, 2020 at 8:00 am. These offices will remain open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm until further notice.
Please note that King George County is exercising an overabundance of measures to protect our citizens who desire to visit County offices in person. These measures include limiting the visitor capacity of any particular department to accommodate social distancing, establishing controlled ingress and egress points to prevent casual contact, and the installation of transparent physical barriers to mitigate the transmission of respiratory emissions.
King George County remains committed to our mission of providing our citizens the most robust service possible. In the interim, we ask you for your patience as we continue to adjust our efforts to meet that end.
