The grace period for farm-use vehicles is over. Those persons operating “farm use” vehicle on the roads in Virginia have to have a valid “Farm Use Plate” displayed on their vehicles before operation on rural roads. Effective July 1, 2024, unofficial handmade signs will no longer be valid.
