The Colonial Beach Town Council voted to continue to retain the services of Captain Bruce Hough of the Colonial Beach Police Department to Act as Police Chief. The agreement is back-dated to May 30, 2018.
This is not the first time Captain Bruce Hough has served as Acting Police Chief for Colonial Beach.
In January 2015 The sitting council; Mayor Mike Ham, Vice Mayor Tommy Edwards, Burkett Lyburn, Eddie Blunt, Wayned DeRosario and Mike Looney voted to appoint Hough as Acting Police Chief.
