The James Monroe Memorial Foundation recently invited members from the State Review Board and the Virginia Historic Resources Board to tour the birth home of Monroe. The replica is still under construction and is scheduled to be complete sometime next year.
James Monroe’s Birthplace has already been registered. Since the group was meeting so close by they decided to come and have a look at the progress being made on the birth home.
