The Colonial Beach Planning Commission has asked the Town Council to officially designate property to be used for a dog park. The Commission is making this request so they can seek funding.
Commissioner Robin Schick feels the community would become confused if a dog park was set up at the Community Center, since many residents already feel that Robin Grove park is a dog park and use it in that fashion.
