The Colonial Beach Town Council has postponed review of the revised pier lease agreement presented by staff until the January work session. Council members listed key issues of concern including the lack of a corresponding revised ordinance, cost of application and requirement of lessee to install erosion control. Councilman Steve Cirbee was the most vocal pointing out that sporadic erosion control will not work.
