The CB Planning Commission Holds December Meeting

Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. at the Colonial Beach Town Center located at 22 Washington Ave, Colonial Beach, Va

The PC would like to remind you that all CB households received a newsletter and survey in your recent water billing. The survey gives citizens an opportunity to participate in the update of the Comprehensive Plan and helps the PC prioritize items for the FY 2020 Capital Improvement Plan. We encourage all Town members to fill out the survey and help us with this process.

The Comprehensive Plan is almost 20 years old and many things have changed over the past two decades in CB. We need to know what priorities you have for the town NOW! So yes, you may have filled out prior surveys and participated in many Town brain storming sessions in the past, but what’s important to you now and in the near future!

On the agenda for Thursday, Dec 27th will be interviewing a new applicant for the PC. There will also be a Public Hearing on a request for a Special Exception to the Chesapeake Bay Act. And each meeting opens with Public Comment on Planning Commission matters not on the agenda. This is your opportunity to tell us what is specifically on your priority list!

Thank you for your input over the past year. Have a wonderful and safe Holiday Season!

Town offices will be closed on Monday and Tuesday for the Christmas holiday.

There will be no trash pick up on Monday or Tuesday. Monday’s and Tuesday’s route will be picked up on Wednesday, December 26.

Wednesday’s and Thursday’s route will be picked up on Thursday, December 27 and Friday’s route will be picked up on Friday, December 28th.

Thank you and Happy Holidays!
