FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will have a mobile operation on Interstate 95 southbound today to repair potholes in the Fredericksburg area.
Drivers should anticipate mobile single lane closures on I-95 southbound through 2 p.m. Saturday. Motorists should be alert for crews and equipment in the work zone.
Crews are starting at the Prince William County line and moving south to Exit 110/Ladysmith in Caroline County, patching potholes identified earlier in the week.
Delays are possible near the mobile work zone. Crews will monitor traffic conditions. If heavy congestion occurs, the work zone will be removed to allow traffic to clear.
To report a pothole, you can contact VDOT’s Customer Service Center 24 hours a day at 1-800-FOR-ROAD (800-367-7623) or online at
