Mayor Eddie Blunt told School Board Officials he needed more time to digest the information they provided before deciding whether or not to reallocate unused school funds. Above all considerations Blunt wants to ensure the funds being requested are in fact unused funding and find out the source of those funds before making a decision.
Superintendent Turner and School Board Chairman Tim Trivett explained where the unused funds came from and provided a list of much needed capital improvement projects where the money could really be used for.
