RCC RILL Course Helps You Clear Your Clutter

Are you struggling with clutter in your life? Maybe you just want to jump on the minimalist life style so you have less to dust and worry about. What ever your reasons, if you need help de-cluttering here is one option for you. Take a course at the local College in Warsaw.

Rappahannock Community College’s Educational Foundation, the Rappahannock Institute for Lifelong Learning (RILL) brings certified professional organizer Debbie Bowie to present “Using Feng Shui to Clear Clutter.” The course will be held on Friday, March 22 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at RCC’s Kilmarnock Center. Clutter blocks productivity, creativity, and even prosperity. Thinking about where to start in the quest for an uncluttered living space can be paralyzing. Where and how do you conquer the first steps and follow through to achieve clutter-free spaces? “Using Feng Shui to Clear Clutter” will show you how to get started and take immediate action to improve your life.

“My course focuses on the power of clutter clearing and helps participants move from begin stuck and unable to clear their clutter to action,” says Bowie. “I provide practical organizing and feng shui principles to make clutter clearing an exciting investment in improving all aspects of life, including strategies to help avoid feeling emotionally and physically overwhelmed.”

Bowie is a Certified Professional Organizer, a graduate of Coach Approach, a comprehensive coach training program for professional organizers and received the Certified Organizer Coach (COC) designation. She holds a B.A. in Art History from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College, M.A. in Art History from the University of Utah, and an M.S. in Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University. Ms. Bowie has been speaking professionally about home organizing and clearing clutter since 1999. She is the author of “From Cluttered to Clear in Just One Year!” and “Rock Scissors Paper: Understanding How Environment Affects Your Performance on a Daily Basis.”
