McCabe Delegates Review Work Among The Commission
Currently the commission is reviewing the first half of chapter 2. Planning Commission Chairwoman Maureen McCabe assigned two members to review three sections of that chapter.
While assigning tasks, McCabe brought up the fact that Monroe Point Subdivision plans, listed amenities that are not being completed. According to the Town Planning Administrator the developer may be trying to construct only residential dwellings and halt development of amenities and commercial portions of the project.
Existing Land Use Maps To Be Updated In Comp Plan
McCabe said she will assist Commissioner Robin Schick with review of the first section, Existing Land Use.
The comp plan states, “Through analyzing existing land use patterns, informed and educated decisions about future land use decisions can be made. When seen how existing individual land uses interact with each other, the identification of desired as well as undesired land use patterns can be accomplished.”
