Olga/Mom rang the bell today!
If you or a loved one has ever gone through chemo or radiation you know what that means.
To those of you who don’t know, it means the prescribed treatments are done! But the waiting begins.
You see radiation and chemo keep working long after the treatments stop. But so do the side effects, meaning she will still not think anything tastes right, she will still be tired and the hair will continue to fall out.
But she will now be able to sleep in, save some energy for painting, gardening or going shopping rather than the ride to chemo or radiation.
So now we wait, wait for the next cat-scan, blood tests and whatever the cancer guru’s have in store for her.
