McCabe Hopes Council Will Cough Up Money For CIP

Colonial Beach Planning Commission Chair, Maureen McCabe voiced her hopes that the town will be able to dedicate some money to Capital Improvement Projects this year, at the May 15 council meeting.
McCabe said, “You know last year there was no income for us to get our capital improvement plan approved and therefore we silently sat and waited for this year and did propose a capital improvement plan. We are hoping that the citizens of this town will be able to see some projects begin so that they will feel safer and know that storm water and all those other issues they are complaining about are in the process.”
