Ruby Brabo King George Supervisor At Large:

FYI regarding Dahlgren Main gate access:

Due to Force Protection issues at main gate and residential safety concerns with high-speed traffic in adjacent neighborhoods, NSASP has coordinated with King George County, KG Sheriff’s Dept, KG County Schools, KG Fire and VDOT to close access to Dahlgren Rd. from 12th St. at main gate.

A town hall meeting will be held 15 July for local residents (site TBD).

VDOT will be constructing a barrier, as well as signage placement within the next few weeks, with a proposed 1 August implementation. Entry and exit to / from Pass & ID will still be accessible from Dahlgren Rd.

Traffic will be allowed to enter 12th St. from Dahlgren Rd; however, traffic exiting main gate (M-F) from 1500 – 1800 will NOT be able to make left turns onto 12th. St.
