Virginia Under Stay At Home Directive

Governor Northam announced today March 30, 2020 that Virginia is under a Stay at Home Directive.

This announcement comes hours after Governor Hogan of Maryland issued the order for his state.

The Stay at Home Directive makes non compliance a misdemeanor and limits travel to only essential needs.

The restrictions really are not any more strict than those that most people have already self imposed to help slow the spread of the virus.

We will still be able to shop for essential items, go to doctors appointments and conduct essential business. It will simply allow law enforcement to ensure those who are not taking the presidents 15 day directives seriously.

Northam said, “These orders are necessary to protect citizens health.”
