November 24 Valero Robbery Suspect Arrested

December A Good Month For KG Crime-stopping

December is turning out to be a good month for King George County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies have apprehended their second suspect-thief in two days. The first was apprehended on Dec 1 shortly after the crime. Maryland Man Apprehended and Charged in Border Store Burglary. And on Dec 2 KGSO arrested a suspect in a Nov 24 robbery.

King George County Sheriff’s Office apprehended Thomas Daren Trivette on December 2nd 2020 and charged him with Robbery. He was remanded to the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.

Trivette is suspected of the November 24th early morning robbery of the Valero Store located in King George Va on Kings Hwy.

According to a press release, on November 24th 2020 at 1:34 a.m., KGSO received a 911 call from the Valero convenience store located on Kings Hwy. in King George, Va.

The caller advised they had just been robbed by a man wearing a mask and brandishing a knife.

He demanded cash which the victim handed over prior to the suspect fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

Deputies responded and confirmed that the suspect was no longer at the scene.

Surveillance video and witnesses at the scene provided deputies with the suspect’s description and a description of the vehicle he was driving.

The investigation led detectives to identifying the suspect as 25 year old Thomas Daren Trivette of King George.

A search warrant was executed on the suspect’s residence where evidence was located tying Trivette to the robbery.

Trivette was arrested on December 2nd 2020 and charged with Robbery. He was remanded to the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond.
