If you didn’t know what apps were owned or affiliated with facebook before today, you’re bound to figure it out. Because it appears Facebook is down all over the world.
NOT only is facebook down but Instagram, What’s App and all other sites owned by facebook are down right now. The company said they were working on the problem but denies any cyber attack as the cause.
It’s anyone’s guess how long the apps will be down and we will have to wait to find out the exact cause.
But Don’t worry with CNBC reporting *that facebook rakes in over a cool $200,000.00 a minute, I’m sure they have all hands on deck working hard to solve the problem. However don’t be surprised if the apps don’t get a major boost in the aftermath which might make the loss worth it in the end.
In the mean time The facebook outage page is lighting up with comments reporting Facebook is down all over the world, not just in the U.S.
One user posted, “Instagram, FB and Whatsapp down in Serbia”
Another frantic user posted, “CAN SOME PLEASE LET ME KNOW SO I DO NOT THINK IT IS JUST ME”
Someone in Texas reports, “The app works, but the website is down in central Texas” Indeed we are able to access facebook through our phone, but can’t load any specific pages and we get crickets on our computers.
Frustrated user are taking this time to site Karma and wish Zuckerburg unwell, “Ohhh. so the Zucker (sucker) who keeps banning me because his algorithm does not get sarcasm has his site down? GOOD, I hope this makes him lose millions!”
A comment was made that the site is down because their website certificate had expired. (speculation)
Regardless of the reason, users have plenty to say about the social media site. We’ll keep you posted as we know more.
