Despite their home being severely damaged by fire, one Spotsylvania family will still have their Christmas thanks to firefighters.
According to a press release, from Spotsylvania County Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Management:
On Monday, just before noon, crews were dispatched to a residential structure fire in the 12900-block of Grant Court in the Lake Wilderness community.
On arrival, crews found a two story residence with fire throughout the second floor and venting through the roof.
One occupant received minor burns and was transported for further medical care.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.

While the home was severely damaged by the fire, crews were able to salvage most of the Christmas presents that were inside.
