An early morning head on collision between a mini-van and a car resulted in one fatality and one injured, shutting down traffic on Route 205 for several hours while State Police Reconstruction teams investigated the accident.
On the morning of June 26, 2018 an early morning head on collision claimed the life of one driver and sent another to Mary Washington Hospital with severe but non-life-threatening injuries according to reports from State Police and Colonial Beach Volunteer Fire Department.
