ROUTE 632 (MT. OLIVE-COHOKE ROAD) IN KING WILLIAM CLOSING FOR REPAIRS MONDAY, MAY 20

Crews are repairing culvert over Aquinton Creek;
Through traffic will be detoured through late July 2019.

Route 632 (Mt. Olive-Cohoke Road) in King William County will close to through traffic beginning next week at Aquinton Creek to allow crews to repair a drainage culvert damaged during Tropical Storm Michael.

Motorists are advised to use the most convenient alternate route during this repair project. Mt. Olive-Cohoke Road is expected to be closed to through traffic between Route 621 (Green Level Road) and Route 629 (Jacks Creek Road) for approximately 10 weeks.

Message boards will be posted to notify motorists of the upcoming road closure and detour. Motorists can anticipate an additional 6-8 minutes of travel time during the project.

An average of 560 vehicles a day travels on this segment of Mt. Olive-Cohoke Road, according to a VDOT traffic count.
