MCR 7-11-20 Catching Up

I know it’s been a long time since I’ve posted a morning coffee report but you know the world has been crazy this year and everybody is just trying to make sense of all this nonsense.

Our little town was closed for so long and people went from not wearing masks to wearing masks, not going to the beach to going to the beach and staying home to going stir crazy.

Although we live in a small town and close nit community the BLM movement came to our little town in a peaceful protest but sadly we saw the racial rants of a frustrated ex coach, mayor and high school vice principal, Wayne Kennedy who after realizing he was wrong for his comments asked that the school system oblige the 400 citizens who petitioned to have his name removed from the high school field.

Fireworks were “postponed” due to Covid Restrictions. There is no word yet on when the fireworks will take place.

Voting was changed but still held in Colonial Beach.

I hope that all of you are safe and well and my condolences to those who have lost loved ones during this pandemic.

Please be safe, take care of your physical and mental health through out these uncertain times and believe in yourself!
