On Monday November 8, 2021 Virginia State Police responded to a crash on Downing Bridge in Richmond County Virginia.
The crash occurred shortly before 8:05 p.m.
According to the preliminary investigation A Dodge pickup was traveling east on Route 360 when it crossed the center-line and struck a Chevrolet Sedan heading West.
The Dodge subsequently overturned coming to a rest on its wheels.
Sadly the driver of the Cheverolet, Jacob R. Ristau, succumbed to his injuries following the Monday Crash. Ristau was 20 years old and a resident of Hague Virginia. His passenger who was not identified was transported for treatment of serious injuries.
The driver of the Dodge who also has not been identified was also taken to the hospital for serious injuries.
Troopers are continuing to investigate. The investigation is ongoing.
