Fredericksburg High School Teacher Charged With Taking Indecent Liberties With A Child

Fredericksburg Police Arrested the local high school teacher yesterday, November 9th, 2021.
Marcus Salley was a high school teacher in Stafford County.
According to FPD, in early September, the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office was notified that a high school teacher was having relations with a minor. Stafford Resource Officer Deputy Flues initiated the investigation and determined Salley was having an online relationship with a juvenile who resides in another state through an instant messaging app.
The case was turned over to Fredericksburg Police Department Detective Lovett when it was determined Salley’s actions occurred in the City of Fredericksburg.
Salley remains incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
On behalf of the Fredericksburg Police Department, thank you to Deputy Flues for his extensive and thorough investigation.
